1) If a product sits under hot lamps at Department stores/pharmacies, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
2) If there is colouring added to your product, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
3) If it is difficult to find ingredients to your skincare product, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
4) If your product looks the same after one year, never changing colour or consistency, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
5) If you product has a long shelf life, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
6) If your product says OIL FREE, when we should all know by now how crucial oils are for our skin, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
7) If your product has alcohol in it (or uses the alcohol form of Vitamin A, Retinol) DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
8) If your dermatologist gives you a prescription for Vitamin A in an acid form, (Retinoic Acid) and reminds you that your skin will burn, itch, flake, and you cannot use the product outside or when sitting near a window, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
9) If a skincare product smells very fragrant, like perfume, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
10) If an aesthetician recommends a chemical peel or microdermabrasion to scrub off the top layer of your very important, protective layer, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR SKIN!
